Bud Light wanted to connect with culture in a more relevant way. So we met with Lady Gaga who was planning to launch her new album to explore ways that we could work together. So instead of launching her album with a traditional tour, we decided to create a dive bar tour across America, and to stream the concerts via Facebook Live.

No one cares about batteries, so to make a Duracell commercial that exploded the internet was the biggest success I've been a part of. We decided to tell a different story about energy, one that empowers people to trust their own power. Some sources of power are stronger than others, and who better to tell this story than Derrick Coleman.

Despite one of the worst records in the NBA, the 76ers have a heritage of being one of the great basketball franchises of all time. Great players such as Allen Iverson, Dr.J, Charles Barkley, Moses Malone, and Wilt Chamberlain have graced the team. We were tasked with rallying the city behind the new team and vision.

When I first arrived to see the installation in San Francisco, there were three people taking pictures of the view with their iphones. How often does that happen? In fact, one evening I sat and watched people's reactions and they walked through the space, it was a fantastic experience.

One of my favorite hobbies is to shop in antique stores. I found this large ancient dollhouse and figured it would be the perfect environment for a music video. When we captured photography of the rooms, they looked real, so we decided to play with perspective and let a spider run loose inside the space.

Space re-design

After Nickelodeon explained that they felt the office had become quite corporate and wanted to bring some soul into the space, we had the perfect solution. We suggested that we commission the graffiti artist Nychos to rip open Nick's staple charater and show his soul. We also hosted an art show for the studio and invited The Weird Crew to come and showcase their work.

This series of posters that captured the aggressive nature of creating and defending good work were printed and given to a range of different design studios. The posters were created to promote the Salt Lake City Addy Award show. The posters generated a large amount of buzz on a series of different design blogs.
